Hyannis Hotel, was built in 1898 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1976. According to its NRHP nomination, it once was considered to be the best hotel and restaurant in western Nebraska. The building design includes Greek Revival and Second Empire architectural elements along with a stucco exterior. The interior brings a country feel with wood covered walls and vinyl flooring through the restaurant and bar area. Cattle brands and old rodeo pictures cover sections of the walls from the community. The café area still provides the old look with hard carpet and booths with wood plank covered walls and pictures from the early 1900s. On the second floor the era from the early 1900s can be experienced within the 9 different hotel rooms. These rooms are a little dated being smaller but comfortable. Some have multiple beds while others only have one bed.
